A few months ago we dropped The Drop, a signature group exercise program created by our own Breann Mitchell. And now we’re excited to bring you The Battle! Whereas The Drop features an all-body weight workout, The Battle mixes it up with lots of different fitness equipment to keep you guessing—and most importantly having fun. The four-part timed circuit incorporates rowers, gliders, weights, and, most fittingly, battle ropes to challenge new muscles every time. And with cardio movements and fast rotations, you’ll get plenty of cardio, too.
Currently featured at Bay Club South Bay, The Battle is coming soon to all other Bay Club locations. But in the meantime, we asked program creator Breann Mitchell to give us a taste of just what we can expect when walking into the studio for The Battle. Complete the following four-part circuit with 60 seconds rest between each station. And once complete, repeat the entire circuit for a second time.

20 Back Rows (each arm counts one rep)
15 Squat/Curl/Press
10 Reverse Lunge to Lateral Raise (each leg counts as one rep)
Ropes and Burpees | 3 Minutes

25 Double Slams
25 Burpees
Gliders | 3 Minutes
How many rounds of the below can you complete in 3 minutes?
20 Mountain Climbers
15 Double Hamstring Curls
10 Pushup/Jacks
Repeat entire circuit once more.
