On Your Marg, Get Set—2 Fruit Margarita and Salsa Recipes

Well, hello there May! It seems like just yesterday it was winter, and now we’re starting to warm up with one of our favorite days of the year: Cinco de Mayo. And there’s no better excuse to upgrade your go-to margarita and salsa recipes! As much as we love a classic lime margarita and a pico de gallo, mixing it up is never a bad thing. So, we’re here to help you spice up your repertoire this year with two twists for your Cinco de Mayo: A mango, jalapeño salsa and margarita, and a watermelon salsa and margarita. You’ll be the hit of your fiesta!

Mango Salsa

Ingredients
2 ripe mangos, diced
1/2 large avocado (or 1 small avocado), diced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped (about 1/2 bell pepper)
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
1/4 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
Salt to taste (start with 1/8 tsp then adjust as needed)

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, and mix well. Taste with a tortilla chip, and adjust salt as needed (you may need more or less depending on saltiness of your chips!).

2 oz Blanco Tequila
1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau, Grand Marnier)
