Blended: Smoothie Bowls to Brighten Your Morning

If you’re a morning person at heart, waking up extra early to start the day with a few of the small things can make you truly happy. And at present, one of those small things happens to be smoothie bowls. Blended, topped with delicious fresh fruit, and sprinkled with flax seeds, these bowls of happiness are the perfect start to any morning—and they’re a small work of art to inspire your day, too! 

Blueberry + Vanilla + Cashew Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
1 cup cashew milk
2 tbsp cashew butter
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ tsp vanilla extract

Blend all ingredients on high, pour into a bowl, and top with additional blueberries, bananas, ground flax, and granola.

Fig + Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
1 cup almond milk
2 fresh figs
1 Medjool date
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp flax seed
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 1/2 tbsp almond butter
1/4 cup ice

Blend all ingredients on high, pour into a bowl, and top with additional sliced fresh figs, bananas, sliced almonds, flax seeds, and almond butter.

Peaches & Cream Oatmeal Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
1/4 cup oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground flax seed
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup frozen peaches
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp coconut butter

Soak oats and chia seeds overnight in nut milk; add a dash of salt. Blend oat and chia seed mixture with the remaining ingredients on high, pour into a bowl, and top with additional fresh peaches, and coconut butter or flakes and granola.

Great additions to any smoothie include maca powder, protein powder, extra chia or flax seeds, or superfruit powder. And any smoothie can be turned into a bowl! Enjoy!
