Slime Making with Logan!

Slime Making with Logan!

We’re all trying to do the same thing with our kiddos these days—keep them entertained! So we talked to our kiddos about things they think other kids in the same situation as them would like to learn—and guess what, homemade slime is #1 on the list! So we reached out to the Slime Expert Extraordinaire, Logan from Bay Club Walnut Creek—and wow, can that girl really make slime!

Ingredients
Elmer’s Glue
Sta-Flo Liquid Starch
Bowl
Measuring cups
Mixing Tool (craft stick, spoon—we used a skewer because we didn’t have one)
Ziplock bag or small container for your slime

Steps to follow
Measure a 1/2 cup of Elmer’s Glue
Add Glue to your bowl
Measure 1/4 cup of Sta-Flo Liquid Starch
Pour Sta-Flo into the bowl with the glue
Start stirring – The Sta-Flo and the glue will react and start to come together
Make sure the liquid is absorbed into the glue.
This is where you get your hands sticky—At first, it will feel really sticky.
Take the slime out and start kneading, and folding the slime till ingredients are well mixed together – after 1-2 minutes your slime will start coming together (should not stick on your hands)

You can divide your slime to make different one or keep as is, or add things like glitter, or food coloring!

Thank you Logan—we hope we can be as knowledgable about slime as you one day! Looking for other activities? We’ve got daily activities for your family on the Daily Bay!
