One of our favorite ways to enjoy coffee is iced. And now that the weather is heating up, we have even more of a reason to drink it. But let’s face it, we’re enjoying iced coffee all year round, so if you’re looking to mix-it-up with a delicious tasting coffee at home—we’ve got just the recipe for you. This homemade Mint Mojito (inspired by Philz Coffee!) is our new favorite way to start our morning, or give us a pick-up in the middle of the day. And this at-home hack might save you a penny or two over time!
Mint Mojito Iced Coffee
1 cup chilled coffee or cold brew
10-12 large mint leaves
1-2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (depending on desired sweetness)
1 tbsp cream of choice
1 cup ice
Brew a cup of coffee to your liking.
Muddle the mint and maple syrup in a pint glass or mason jar.
Add ice, coffee and cream to the glass.
Shake well for about 15 seconds to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed.
Optional: Strain into a new glass over fresh ice. If you don’t mind mint pieces in your coffee, you can skip this step.
Garnish with a mint sprig and enjoy!
