The Art of Acai

The Art of Acai

We can’t start a day without our morning acai bowls. (Well, that and coffee.) Blended to perfection and topped with all our favorite fruits, it’s a morning ritual worth waking up an extra 20 minutes early for. Okay, it may be the latest trend, but you can’t deny the positive impact that all these vitamins and nutrients have on your body. Plus, the acai bowl can be topped with the most perfect crunch, to create a harmony of flavors and textures.

Here is a simple recipe to make your own at-home acai bowls. Use this as a guideline, and add in any of your favorite fruit. Weekend mornings are also the perfect time to invite over friends and family for an acai bar. Just lay out an assortment of toppings, and blend the smoothie base as needed for your guests!

Smoothie Ingredients
1 banana
1 cup of mixed fruit
3/4 cup almond milk
2 frozen acai packets

Toppings
Banana slices
Raspberries
