There are plenty of holiday stories that inspire a festive spirit. From The Night Before Christmas to The Nutcracker, we grew up with tales about the magic of this season. This year, we decided to borrow a little holiday spirit from a less traditional story: Shel Silverstein’s beloved Giving Tree. Because while candy canes and twinkling lights may make this season special, generosity is what truly makes it the most wonderful time of the year. Inspired by the Giving Tree’s endless generosity, we’re granting holiday wishes through contributions from our community—and that includes you! We’re partnering with Family Giving Tree in Northern California, and Miracle on 1st Street in Southern California to give gifts to the families effected by the devastating California fires this fall, or a local low-income family near your Bay Club.
How does it work?
1. Pick up a Wish Tag at the Bay Club.
2. Shop for the wish on your tag.
3. Bring your (unwrapped) item back to the Club before December 17—and don’t forget to bring your Wish Tag back too!
