This past January, a record number of women (and men and children) from all different backgrounds marched together in the historic Women’s March that saw record turnout in nearly every U.S. city. In fact, it was the largest demonstration in U.S. history.
And today, we have another opportunity for women to stand together and celebrate each other on International Women’s Day. In the spirit of celebrating wonderful women, we wanted to honor some of our own at the Bay Club.
Each of these women make the Bay Club the open, welcoming, and influential community that it is, and we loved hearing more about their stories, perspectives, and what’s important to them. One thing that was consistent among all of them, and among women all over the world, is that we can accomplish more as women when we help each other. As one very powerful woman once said, “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” Here’s to women celebrating each other’s successes, understanding one another’s mistakes, and remembering just how powerful we are when we believe in ourselves—and in one another.
Thank you to all the fearless women leaders of the Bay Club, including Annie Appel, Jennifer Beaton, Erin Rucker Oto, Robyn Van DerLuit, Dani Bongatti, and Bobbi Quick. We appreciate your advice and inspiring words in this video, and everyday.
