What’s a summer without a seasonal beverage! Check out all three of our summer-inspired sangrias to pair perfectly with the Mango, Chicken, and Avocado salad from Café Vida. Refreshing and full of flavor, these red, white, and rosé recipes pair your favorite wine with delicious summer fruit. They’re perfect for sipping with guests or on your own—perhaps with a good summer book in hand. We can dream!
Garden-Inspired White Sangria
Ingredients
1 bottle of chilled sauvignon blanc
½ cup of St. Germain elderflower liqueur
½ cup of gin
1 cup of strawberries, sliced
½ an orange, sliced
2 fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
1 handful of fresh mint leaves
1 cup of sparkling water
Directions
Combine fruit, mint, St. Germain, and gin in a pitcher and muddle gently with a wooden spoon. Add the Sauvignon Blanc and mix well. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Add sparkling water and stir before serving in glasses over ice. Serves 6.
Raspberry Mango Rosé Sangria
Ingredients
1 bottle of chilled dry rosé
¼ cup of Grand Marnier
¼ cup of mango juice
1 cup of unsweetened sparkling raspberry soda (we used Spindrift)
½ cup of raspberries
1 mango, peeled, pitted, and sliced
½ an orange, sliced
Directions
Combine fruit, Grand Marnier, and mango juice in a pitcher and muddle gently with a wooden spoon. Add the rosé and mix well. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Add sparkling raspberry soda and stir before serving in glasses over ice. Serves 6.
Summer Berry Red Sangria
Ingredients
1 bottle of chilled fruity red wine (we used a tempranillo)
¼ cup of orange liqueur (we used Cointreau)
½ cup of brandy (we used Étude)
¼ cup of pomegranate juice
1 cup of sparkling water
3 cups of mixed summer berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
½ an orange, sliced
Directions
Combine fruit, orange liqueur, brandy, pomegranate juice, and chilled red wine in a pitcher. Mix well and refrigerate for at least one hour. Add sparkling water and stir before serving in glasses over ice. Serves 6.
